I've been an educator for most of my life—whether teaching kids how to do a jazz square or explaining the nuances of a square aspect in astrology.
The throughline? No matter the age or subject, people have a strong desire to be understood.

Not to be dramatic, but I became an astrologer after my Saturn Return flipped my life upside down.
I followed the "perfect" plan: dance degree, teaching, grad school, professor track. But something felt deeply wrong.

Then I discovered I was in my Saturn Return. The self-doubt, restlessness, urge to pivot—it all made sense. Saturn was clearing out what no longer fit.

My Saturn Return was in my 9th house, so, naturally, I left the East Coast to attend grad school in California. But I was bored and depressed. For the first time, I questioned my entire purpose. If not dance, what would I do?

My birth chart showed me I needed NYC—the only place I felt like myself. After graduating, I moved back. Then I thought, "Why aren't I giving birth chart readings?" So I did.

Now I help people not just understand their charts but put them into action. If I'd played it safe and changed nothing, I don't want to imagine where I'd be.
